Riyo Games is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, visually engaging, and player-centric interfaces for their 2.5D JRPG "Threads of Time".
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality UI assets and layouts in Unreal Engine
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to deliver UI/UX solutions
- Maintain UI style guides and ensure consistency
- Ensure UI scalability across devices and resolutions
- Participate in playtesting and improve UX based on feedback
- Support UI polish, bug fixing, and implementation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for games
- Strong graphic design fundamentals (composition, color theory)
- Experience with tools like Figma, Photoshop
- Strong Unreal Engine experience
- Understanding of player psychology and usability
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Experience shipping console/PC titles
- Familiarity with platform guidelines (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox)
- Passion for JRPGs
Salary: CAD 80,000 - 100,000
Note: This is a remote role but candidates must reside in Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, or British Columbia).
